Random idea for high-lethality D&D campaigns: Character death unlocks new classes and races. Maybe useful in “special snowflake” campaigns where no one reads your carefully crafted setting material. Instead you roll it out piecemeal as PCs bite the dust. “I really want to play a saurian warlock…sure, I’ll take a drink of that mystery potion.” Someone probably thought of this before.
Yeah, Andrew has back burnered it for a while but as his Blades novels are cooking along now it might pick back up. He’s always a bit sad that he wants art but art is expensive and if it’s good you have to be cool enough / in with people to get good and or cheap.
ReplyDeleteIt’s a Post WWI setting where the war was vs the Courts of Faerie I can send you the last draft I got. It uses Maze Rats as an engine because that’s what I asked for.
It’s NBD if you do or don’t but I thought I’d try to funnel people his way to kind a help.
