The Jester seems tricky though. The one I've got can only really attack enemies in the back two ranks. That's maybe an unlucky draw of abilities when I recruited him.
The Jester attack skills tend to specialized. Like a couple of them can only attack the middle two ranks. I feel like I'll have to take a little more time to see if I care much about them.
The Jester has some wicked bleed skills, and that buff is great (his camp destress skills are also cool) but mine got killed by the swine king do to a crit and wilbur marking him so I'm working on his replacement - he lacks the movement skills of the highwayman and the gravedigger though, which is a problem.
The Jester is really really useful if you can get the destress and buff skills. I don't even bother attacking if I have those two skills because they'll help keep everybody else in a good position to murder the hell out of the enemy.
Originally shared by Jonathan Tweet Tonight, my "Lethal Damage" 13th Age campaign draws to a close. Meanwhile, the guys are work have talked me into running a couple D&D sessions for them. That was the day 13th Age was announced, and they're happy to play 13th Age instead. That will be my "Great Center" campaign, based in the imperial capital of Axis, the center of the world. It's my opportunity to explore the setting from yet another perspective.
Where did it all go wrong, Casey? I can’t pinpoint it, but it was already too late when they remade 3:10 to Yuma and took a movie that was mostly two men talking about morality in a hotel room and put in a Gatling gun.
I think I just got to jesters in my last attempt. I keep having to restart.
ReplyDeleteI think I need this game. The art is SO up my alley.

ReplyDeleteYeah, that's fair. I keep forgetting to factor in camping skills.
