Originally shared by Jonathan Tweet Tonight, my "Lethal Damage" 13th Age campaign draws to a close. Meanwhile, the guys are work have talked me into running a couple D&D sessions for them. That was the day 13th Age was announced, and they're happy to play 13th Age instead. That will be my "Great Center" campaign, based in the imperial capital of Axis, the center of the world. It's my opportunity to explore the setting from yet another perspective.
Tough call. I'm gonna go with Death Race, because speed.
ReplyDeleteA doom pit has a sort of "Deep Space 9" vibe. Rather than looking for trouble, trouble comes to you!
ReplyDeleteDeath race! Sick flips jumps and wipe outs!
ReplyDeleteTony Tucker race you to the bottom of the doom pit... because speed. :D
ReplyDeleteDoom Pit. Because I can’t drive.

ReplyDelete(coming again this November!)
Death Race.
ReplyDeleteIt depends on what the mechanics of the system does well. If it handles chase well, then Death Race. Otherwise if it handles wirework, climbing etc. well then Doom Pit.
ReplyDeleteIf it does neither well, then you need to find another option...
Why not just combine them into Doom Pit, Death Race?
