Made my decidedly average Nexus 7 case into a smart case tonight. Materials: 1 grade N38SH 1/4"x1/16th" neodymium magnet, blue-tac, super glue, x-acto knife, cover magnet. Step 1: determine where the "smart spot" was. Put blue-tac on magnet while it was in place and closed the cover so it would stick in the spot it needed to be mounted. Step 2: cut out hole for the rare earth magnet. This was really hard actually. This material is tough. Step 3: glued a really flat fridge magnet onto the cover to conceal the hole. This could have been anything, but this magnet is thin and strong and I like the Current, so cool. Step 4: glued the rare-earth magnet into the hole. Step 5: Profit! Miniature modeling and painting skills and material came in handy. #nexus7
