My GW games splurge is almost over. I've decided Shadow War: Armageddon is the best substitute for an XCOM miniatures game. Coop painted an entire unit of Necrons, and I painted three Death Guard marines, trying to get my mojo back. I went purple and pink. Tried to make all the hoses look like intestine, etc. Crappy pics, and I don’t know when I’ll varnish them. That’s not as forgiving as priming is in the cold.
