Do you enjoy confusing your players? In your next dungeon, put in a room that contains: 4 cloaks 6 belts 1 pair of boots (both left feet) 3 tunics 1 36' length of rope 2 hats 2 pairs of slippers They will be utterly confused that you bothered to itemize these things, and assume something is up. If they cast detect magic, each item has a 50% chance of appearing magical. Roll randomly to determine if an item fits a particular character. If it does, make a big deal about how it fits perfectly . Watch as they try on the clothes, hit each other with the sides of their weapons, etc etc, in order to find out what they do, which is nothing. These items have a chance to appear magical because a wizard tried to make a magical laundry room, but failed. If taken out of the room for a week, the magical aura fades away.
