I'm pretty sure my ACKS players are going to try to murder a werewolf noble and steal all his stuff in our next session. This is maybe the most accurate one of these I've seen. With the exception that Doc is only "good" when around Wyatt, and Wyatt is only "NG" pre vengeance ride.

Anyone else ever notice that their Google Drive documents look different depending on the computer you are using? Tabs and spacing change depending on if I'm looking at a file on my home PC or my work PC. Is there a "true" version of the file? Or if I opened it from a third PC would it be different in a new way? Frustrating.

I've updated my Heroica reference sheet since I got the Ilrion set today. The Lego website actually had the Prince's power wrong, so I've corrected it. I also added the Fang of Fury to the special items.

So I was exposed to 9 alignment D&D first. Elric, Corum, and old-school Law/Neutrality/Chaos D&D came later. In Law/Neutrality/Chaos D&D, what do we do with Lawful Evil? Is it Law? or is it Chaos because it's evil? What about Chaotic Good? Not that Law can't fight Law or Chaos fight Chaos, but it doesn't fit the "cosmic balance" tradition.

There’s no whining in the OSR Got my first poopy pants email from a player concerning my ACKS campaign. The dude’s fighter has been a cursed character from day one. He seems to miss more than the odds would dictate, and most painfully, last two levels gained has rolled 1s for hit points. Then his henchman leveled, and he rolled another 1 for hit points. He forgets that he's still alive which is quite a triumph. So he was wondering if there was anything he could do to get those re-rolled.  And also, was I keeping a wish-list of magic items people wanted or was I taking treasure straight from adventures because he was feeling underpowered. Oh, fer Pelor’s sake… I think I got my response right. Because I was annoyed having four booklets open so I could see all the special rules, I made a reference sheet for Heroica with all the heroes, monsters, and items on it.

Heroica Game Night Been awhile since we played Heroica. This is the first four sets all hooked together, pre-carnage. We each played two heroes and tried to have our team score the most points. Monsters worth their rating 1-3, 1 point per gold, 1 point for unused potions at the end of the game, 3 points for unique magic items, and 2 points for purchased weapons. After Abby killed the goblin king and took his magic helmet, she was in the lead, but I had three potions, so that tied it up.

Auto-Awesomed Heroica Okay, this is my best use of this feature yet.

Last night in Deadlands, the posse stopped a lynch mob with slapstick comedy. Spraying a dude that looks like Boss Hogg with a water hose (mad science) and making him fall in the mud took away the mob's murderous rage. Then 30 murderous vampires arrived by train to eat everyone in town.

Hey, I just realized I've never seen anyone post anything about Kim Newman's Anno Dracula series. I've read the first two books, and they're fantastic. You need to keep Wikipedia open to get all the references. Whenever I recognized one without needing to look it up, I got a little thrill.

3rd and 16th: Clobberin' in the Streets I can't get this idea for a reskin of 3:16-Carnage Amongst the Stars out of my head. FA is "Fighting Powers"  NFA is "Non-Fighting Powers" Instead of a weapon, pick a power, the "kills" are now "property damage." Alien Ability is "Super-Villain Ability" and might be one big bad, an evil super-team, or an evil organization like Hydra. Need to think about this some more.
