My parents didn't police what I was reading at all, which is how I ended up reading this series at 13. Sex, violence, cannibals getting boners before they killed people...this series had it all. Minor spoilers for Man of Steel I couldn't find a picture of the LexCorp tanker truck that gets wrecked, but I did find this still of the wreckage of a Wayne Industries satellite raining down over LexCorp tower. This tells us that the new movie Lex will be the evil CEO Lex, not the cartoonish real estate baron villain. Thank the New Gods. So, fans wanting some crusading reporter Clark Kent vs. corrupt corporations may get their wish.

I am again reminded why I stopped buying superhero comics. With the Guardian's of the Galaxy movie coming out...whenever...I decided I wanted to read the book. I've always loved Rocket Raccoon since I read his limited series as a kid. So I happily buy the first trade. Issue 4, boom, crossover with Secret Invasion. No big deal, it's a one issue thing and doesn't tie into the main story. But I'm annoyed. I read the second trade. It's great. But there's no third. So I buy just issue 13. All of a sudden I feel like I've missed something. Adam Warlock seems to know all this stuff that I don't remember him figuring out. Then I get to the end of the issue and get a "continued in War of Kings #3 and Nova #15!" Goddammit! I should never have started back up again.

Her lower back showing Stark direwolf and Tully fish to represent her roots however as you move round the dress the Lannister lion becomes more dominant. In areas it shows the contrast between the lion and the dire wolf as they fight on her hips as she becomes more and more entangled by Lannister life. Finally the Lion's head is stamped on her back neck to represent how the Lannisters finally own her through marriage. The Tully blue is faintly used in some areas however Lannister red and gold strong throughout. The attention to details is quite amazing. Another XCOM post
Another XCOM post I started an Ironman campaign on regular difficulty after beating save-scumming Classic. First mission: two of the soldiers are British and named Davies. Ben and Gregory. I decide they are brothers. So of course Ben hid behind a car that exploded (I didn't notice that my grenade the round before had started it on fire.) He was down but not dead if I could end the mission before he died. So Greg rushed up to flank the last sectoid, hoping to end the mission quickly, and taking cover behind another car. Which promptly exploded. It had been damaged from the other explosion and I didn't notice. Luckily, another soldier finished off the sectoids and Ben was saved, but gravely wounded for 14 days. I imagine him coming out of his coma and asking where Greg is. He's going on every mission he can. He wants revenge!
