Instead of watching Fury Road lose all the big Oscars, I continued the solo Scarlet Heroes: Road Hogs adventures of Bad Bart the mutant mongrel in the ruins of the After the Bomb west. When last I left Bart, he'd come across the wreckage of a Road Hog attack. Signs pointed to a survivor of the crash being taken prisoner. Bart, damning his conscience, followed the tire tracks into the desert. He came to an old ranch house that the Road Hogs had turned into a base. Sneaking in at night, Bart found some cash and jewelry, a badass set of leathers with kevlar plates (leather armor +3), and a Jackson Pollock painting. He quietly took care of some guards, and located the survivor of the crash, a female Opossum named Karen Mendez. They were spotted while escaping, but Bart took out his .357 and ended it. They made it back to Mustang Sally, and roared off into the desert. That gets Bart up to level 2.

Palladium TMNT team-style rules for D&D One of the coolest features of TMNT is the team rules. If you create your characters all together with the same origin you get any skills you all take at a level equal to the number of members of the team. In 5e D&D, I'd allow a team to be siblings or members of a tribe or clan or something. Everyone takes the same background (not class). When working as a team, they get advantage on background skills they share. In combat they get advantage when attacking the same target. Edit: I think there's a thing where if you have a high ability score everyone gets a bump. For D&D I'd let the team pick two scores to give a +1 to.

I have to post the full-size version of Abby's drawing of her Star Wars character, Potwa the Smadorable Jedi. A Smadorable (smart+adorable) is an ewok-sized alien with a head-tail and a...tail-tail. You can see Potwa wears a sylish owl-hat, a scarf, and a shirt that says "J.S. Rocks" (Jedi School Rocks). Her lightsaber is hot pink and when she uses the Force sparkles shoot out of her hands. Here you can see her looking non-threatening on the left, but then suddenly karate-kicking and lightsaber attacking on the right. Stormtroopers beware.

Very tempting. But I always wonder why I would need all this fluff when you can run just about anything from anytime with the Savage Worlds basic book. Of course the fluff and history is cool, this has some extra juice it looks like: Mission System: A brand new feature for Weird War I is the Mission System. The War Master can use this new narrative system to simulate missions such as patrols, air raids, coastal raids, or other typical missions--then break out into the regular system if something demands more detailed attention. Adventure Generator: Detailed tables to spark the War Master's imagination in creating adventures. For Magick & Megacorps , the party took a job that requires them to get on a commercial plane. This means they can’t have their guns, or they need to sneak them through a Total Recall-style scanner. The contortions some of them are going through are delicious. I have no encounters planned for the plane. But I still fully expect it to end like this.
